WNGE Channel 2 - "Christmas Night Lineup" (Promo, 1975)
Not from Chicago, but still of historical interest - a promo of Christmas evening's programming lineup on WNGE Channel 2 in Nashville, Tennessee. (The "GE" part of the station's calls was for its then-owner, General Electric; prior to 1973 it had been on Channel 8 under the call letters WSIX, until it swapped frequencies with PBS affiliate WDCN [now WNPT]; since 1983 Channel 2 has been known as WKRN.)
The lineup for this evening is listed as follows:

Here's another old local movie show opening - The Nine O'Clock Movie presentation of "Alvarez Kelly" on WKBD Channel 50 in Detroit. Also includes the non-animated Kaiser Broadcasting ID and a bumper slide promo for the WKBD Late Movie (voiceover by ??)
This aired on local Detroit TV on Wednesday, February 23rd 1977 at 9pm! (not Chicago TV, but still cool)
Kaiser Broadcasting Company (ID #2, 1977)

Here's a different Kaiser Broadcasting ID than the one we just saw - this one is a few months older and by this time they had upgraded to an animated one. Same music and voiceover though.
We can probably assume that the exact same ID would air on WFLD during this period.

WFBN Channel 66 - The Avengers - "Technical Funk-Up" (1985)
Here's a technical difficulties moment from WFBN Channel 66 during a broadcast of The Avengers.
We see the abrupt end of a commercial offer for a Civil War Chess Set and then a TV-66 "Road sign" station ID. Something's not quite kosher though as the interruption continues and the operator decides to make the most of it by playing some funky music (an excerpt of the song "What Is Hip", by Tower of Power) before the program returns.

WLS Channel 7 - Hot Fudge Show (Excerpt, 1980?)
Here is a small excerpt from the Hot Fudge Show as aired on WLS Channel 7. This is all I found - wish there was more, but at least you get to hear a little of the theme song.
This show aired on WFLD Channel 32, WLS Channel 7, and at one point WSNS Channel 44.
Hot Fudge bumper voiceover by Janice Kos
Not sure when this was recorded exactly; the only clue is the Honeycomb cereal commercial at the end, which is why I placed this at around 1980.

WXYZ Channel 7 - Action News - "Brief News Clip" (1977)
Here's a brief news clip found at the end of a tape. You can see WXYZ Channel 7 anchors Bill Bonds and John Kelly in the background at the beginning. Lynn Skzynear reports on the death of a young boy from the King family, and has some shots of the Holy Name Church in Birmingham and Holy Name Elementary School. Also features some words of warning by Attorney Pete Leto, before the tape cuts out.
This aired on local Detroit TV likely sometime in early 1977. (not Chicago TV, bu...
WFLD Channel 32 - "Season's Greetings" (1979)

Here's a Season's Greeting message and legal station ID from WFLD Channel 32 that aired between the end of Green Acres and the beginning of Batman. (at the very end we see a tiny snippet of the beginning of the episode, "The Joker's Last Laugh".)
This was a variant on the Merry Christmas musical montage from the same year.
Voiceover by Ron Beattie.
