Here is one of those old "Invisible Man" commercials for Scotch Magic Transparent Tape by 3M.

I used to love these growing up (though they did freak me out a bit). :-)

Maybe it was because they were shot on videotape, as opposed to film, which gave them a more immediate and less cinematic look.

Here is a "Technical Difficulties" moment for The "U" Channel 26 WCIU in Chicago during it's first few weeks on the air. This occured during a commercial break. At least they made it interesting. (Actually the cynical side of me says this was staged, but who knows? Is it a coincidence that the technical difficulty only lasted almost exactly 1 minute?)
