Here's Part 1 of an edition of The Dorsey Connors Show on WNBQ Channel 5 (which, like most shows of this period, is only available via 16mm kinescope film). But whereas Ms. Phillip continually remade herself (and in the process, remained a Chicago TV p...

Kaiser Broadcasting Company (ID #1, 1977)

Here it is at long last! A complete Kaiser Broadcasting ID! I wish I could say this was from a Chicago recording, but it actually comes from a tape made off of one of WFLD's sister stations - WKBD Channel 50 in Detroit.

As you can hear at the end of this clip (in an extremely brief snippet) - the same music was used in the WFLD one, so it's very likely that they were identical (except perhaps for the ...

KOCO Channel 5 - Lunch With Ho Ho (Promo #2, 1965)

Here is a promo for "Lunch With Ho-Ho" on KOCO-TV Channel 5 in Oklahoma City. This was a children's program featuring HoHo the Clown (played by Ed Birchall) and Pokey the Puppet (played by Bill Howard, the station's long-time stage manager wearing a sock-puppet on his arm).

We can probably assume that this was recorded at the same session as the first promo, i.e., on Wednesday, August 11th 1965. The Director was "Thrash" with Camera by "Rose and Waters".
