Here's a cool vintage commercial for WLUP - The Loop - FM 98. I believe this airing is from early 1980.
Features that original hot siren Loop chick - Lorelei, lip-syncing to Steve Dahl & Garry Meier, Les Tracy, Mitch Michaels (Doin' the Cruise!), and Sky Daniels!
(Also features a tiny snippet of a WFLD Channel 32 M*A*S*H bumper at the beginning) Enjoy!

WLS Channel 7 - The 3:30 Movie - "Pocketful of Miracles" (Promo, 1974?)
Here's a promo for the upcoming 3:30 Movie presentation of the 1961 film "Pocketful of Miracles" starring Glenn Ford and Bette Davis, preserved on 16mm film. This was most likely for the two-part airing to be shown on February 7th and 8th 1974, as the typesetting for the title (set in a font called Frankfurter) was different than that on this 1972 promo.
Technical / Modification Note: This ...

WLS Channel 7 - The 3:30 Movie - "Jason And The Argonauts" (Opening, 1978)
Well, here it is - the opening to The 3:30 Movie on WLS Channel 7!! The movie was "Jason and the Argonauts" - unfortunately the beginning of the film cuts off the last couple seconds of the theme song - which you can hear in the bumpers, which I will post.
Funny, but I've seen these graphics elsewhere - they were also used for the same era's The Late Movie on WLS - except of course for the title change, everything else was the same - same swirling star graphics, ...
Dion & The Belmonts - "The Dion Years" (Record Offer, 1976)
Here's a record offer from GRT for "The Dion Years" by Dion & The Belmonts, with 22 original recordings of both the group and Dion's early solo hits, all originally released on Laurie Records between 1958 and 1962. The album cover was a mockup of vintage Life magazine covers.
Note, on the mailing address of where to send for this album, a glaring error on the address (the zip code of 06909 would theoretically be within the perimeters of Stamford, CT!).
