WMAQ Channel 5 - NewsCenter5 - "ElectroNewsMusik" (Ending, 1976)

I believe someone asked for this once - the weird electronic music that NewsCenter5 apparently used before they replaced it with a more traditional sounding (yet still Electronic-tinged) theme. So, here's an ending of NewsCenter5 on WMAQ Channel 5 that I found recently that features the music. Also has a voiceover promo by Lorry Young for NBC's Saturday Night (later known as Saturday Night Live) Lastly t...

Here's the final part of a demo reel from Midocean Motion Pictures, a production and graphics firm which worked "in association with" EUE-Screen Gems (the latter of "S From Hell" infamy, spun off from Columbia Pictures).

This came from a 3/4" Umatic tape that was kept by Cathy Mustari, art director for WFLD Channel 32 from 1974 to the late '80's, from a time when the station was actively shopping for produ...

WFLD Channel 32 - Brady Bunch Hour - "Grapes" (Bumper, 1977?)

Here's a filmed bumper from WFLD Channel 32 advising that The Brady Bunch Hour will continue, complete with a snippet of the theme music as heard over the closing credits. (This was not a reference to their short-lived 1977 variety hour, but a back-to-back block of episodes from the original 1969-74 series that Channel 32 aired regularly.) The bumper uses a stylized "bunch" of grapes as it's motif.

This features the Kaiser-era "32" logo as used during the period the st...

Eddie Schwartz Interviews Jerry G. Bishop & Rich Koz (Part 4, 1982)

Here's something pretty rare - you get your Jerry G. and Koz fix all in one. (Not to mention a tribute to recently passed "Chicago Ed" Eddie Schwartz). This is Part 4 (the last part) of a radio interview Eddie did with Jerry G. Bishop (in studio) where they call up Rich Koz at home.

This part also features veteran WGN-TV newsman, Jack Taylor.

Sorry for the variable and at times muffled audio quality - I did not mix this or attempt to fix it up much. If any aud...
