The Most Important Person - "Touching" (1972)

Here is a segment of the animated short "The Most Important Person". This one's called "Touching". (last one I have right now, folks)

These aired on WFLD Channel 32 in Chicago during the late-seventies and possibly as late as the early eighties? (And, I'm sure, on many other local stations)

Funded by The Office of Child Development - Department of Health, Education, and Welfare...

Snipets - "Eat Your Fruits & Vegetables" (1980)

Here is another rare Snipets segment! These would air on Field Communications stations such as WFLD Channel 32 in the 70's and 80's.

This one is extremely fuzzy, but it's the only existing copy so far. Notice that it uses some footage from Way to Go - another Field Communications program.

This segment encourages you to eat fruits and vegetables.

Produced by Field Communications Corporation.

The Lost Snipets - "Children's Dentist" (A FuzzyMemories Re-Creation)

I had some additional Snipets segments but they were transferred from 16mm film and did not have the opening and closing on them. So, I did a little editing job and added them in. Not sure when this segment was created but I went with the 1977 classic "patchwork" Snipets logo. Enjoy.

(again, not lost per se, since this one surfaced on YouTube awhile back, but it was recorded from a Miami station and didn't have the proper end bumper. Also, improved quality here)

WSNS Channel 44 - Popeye with Steve Hart - "Balloon Voyage" (1975?)

Here's another segment from Popeye with Steve Hart on WSNS Channel 44.

This time Steve Hart, Little K, Hector the Chicken, and Bookie Worm sing "I'm Flying" from the Peter Pan musical that featured Mary Martin as well as their renditions of "Bye-Bye Blackbird" and "California Here I Come" while floating around in a hot-air balloon.

This aired on local Chicago TV circa 1975.

WFLD Channel 32 - Afternoon Fun - "The Banana Splits" (Promo, 1982)

Just unearthed from a Umatic tape today! Here's the only Banana Splits footage from WFLD yet found - a promo (about 95% complete) during a presentation of the Monkees on Lunchtime Fun. They were on at 3:30pm during this time.

Just for the heck of it I also left in the Monkees bumper at the end.

If I'm not mistaken, this was during the last few months of the Banana Splits' run on WFLD.

Voiceover by Dr. Don.

This aired on local Chica...

WFLD Channel 32 - Super Cartoon Sunrise (Partial Ending, 1980)

Here's a small snippet of the ending of Super Cartoon Sunrise on WFLD Channel 32. The voiceover by Dr. Don goes long and runs into an I Love Lucy bumper promo featuring a voiceover by Jim Barton. (which was followed by the opening to a Monkees episode)

Boy, 'dem SCS segments sure is scarce. We have to be happy with 3 seconds of footage. ;-)

This aired on local Chicago TV on Thursday, July 3rd 1980 at 8:30am.
