Thought I'd post this since Patrick McGoohan recently passed away...the opening to his short-lived CBS series, "Rafferty". Includes a preview of the episode, the opening credits with sponsorship by General Electric Coffee Corner, and the first minute or so of the episode "Death out of a Blue Sky". (This is all I have - no complete episodes)
This aired on local Rockford, IL TV on Monday, November 28th 1977. (Although it was probably exactly the same as it aired on WBBM!) (By...
Bert Weinman Ford with Linn Burton (Commercial, 1980)

(reposted separately to make it easier to find)
Here's another classic commercial for Bert Weinman Ford with Linn Burton.
Bert Weinman - Your TV Ford Man - at 3535 N. Ashland Avenue. (Although if Bert Weinman is supposedly my *TV* Ford Man, how come we never see any commercials with him in them? We always see Linn Burton. Was Linn Burton a salesman that worked at Bert Weinman's? I wonder how many people mistook Linn Burton for Bert Weinman?)

Here's a commercial for the eponymous debut album by the "Hanson" of their day - The Keane Brothers. (Tom and John) On 20th Century Records and Tapes. Produced by the legendary David Foster.
The second song in this isn't half bad - has a real mellow 70s vibe to it. Tom wrote their own songs from what I've googled. Oh - wow, I guess that song was written for and about Amy Carter. It's called Amy (Show The World You're There).

Here is Part 1 of the final episode of The Ray Rayner Show as shown on WGN Channel 9. (the first part is from a different source, so the video quality isn't as good as the rest of the parts)
Here he banters a bit with Chelveston the Duck and feeds him out of his hand, then shows a Bugs Bunny cartoon without the opening titles of "Hurdy Gurdy Hare".
Notice the audio cuts out when he says the date at the beginning and later in the clip. This must have been done b...

Here's Part 1 of an (incomplete) episode of the prototypical "reality show" Real People on WMAQ Channel 5. The show was hosted by Byron Allen, Sarah Purcell, John Barbour, and Skip Stephenson (and featured, on and off over the years, contributions from the likes of Bill Rafferty, Mark Russell and Fred Willard - none of whom are on this edition), and ran from 1979 to 1984 at a time when NBC's ratings (and reputation) were in the toilet.
