WFLD Channel 32 - Tic Tac Dough - "Screwy Voiceover" (Bumper Promo, 1980)

Here's a bumper promo for Tic Tac Dough on WFLD Channel 32. The Jim Barton voiceover started late and so we get to hear more of the background Field Communications music than usual.

They also screwed up because Tic Tac Dough wasn't next, Joker's Wild was. (with no Newscene update)

Mercifully, they then cut the whole thing off.

This aired on local Chicago TV on Monday, October 27th 1980 at 7:30pm.

WMAQ Channel 5 - Jerry Springer - "Adult Babies" (Part 3, 1992)

Here's Part 3 of a (vintage?) Jerry Springer episode on WMAQ Channel 5 dealing with the very delicate (and absorbent) topic of Adult Babies.

Features Jerry continuing his panel discussion with the addition of Lee Carroll - an adult film star who also takes care of adult babies (for a fee), as well as Psychologist and media commentator Dr. Robert R. Butterworth, Ph.D., who thinks that adults who act like babies are mentally unstable. Also:

Hostess Snacks - "Win a Solid Gold Twinkie!" (Commercial, 1981)

Here's another vintage commercial for Hostess Snacks - Twinkies, Fruit Pies (with real filling!) (and real saturated fat!), and Cup Cakes - featuring a contest to win a $50,000 Solid Gold Twinkie cake. Wow, I wonder if the person who won it still has it. Gold has gone up I think, so I wonder how much it would be worth now.

(this commercial is a shortened version of one I already posted)

Lincoln Carpeting (Commercial #1, 1984)

Here is a Lincoln Carpeting commercial, circa 1984. Not the full version of the jingle, but enough. :-)

Apparently, Lincoln is the thinking man's carpet company. Makes that Empire guy look like a uneducated philistine. ;-)

Here is another Lincoln Carpeting commercial, circa 1984. Not the full version of the jingle, but enough. Now the Lincoln guy gets his wife in on the act. :-)

Chicago Heart Assocation - "Do You Mime If I Smoke?" - Short Version (PSA, 1979)

Here is the shorter, 10 second version of the Chicago Heart Association public service annoucement featuring Carleton the Mime. I think it's kind of ironic that the mime's name is very similar to a popular brand of cigarettes. ;-)

There is also a longer and medium length versi...
