Here's a demo reel for B.J. & Dirty Dragon featuring Dave Dillman, director of the show, which aired on WFLD Channel 32. It features two examples of musical numbers from The Thumptwangers with Maynard the Crow, preceded by technical descriptions by Mr. Dillman. This was transferred from a 2" quad tape, which starts off with color bars and accompanying (approx.) 400 Hz tone.
First up is the Thumptwangers' lip-syncing (or beak-syncing, if you will) to Ray Stevens' "Fredd...

Here's another Long Chevrolet commercial with Timmy all grown up. Actually, they must have reused commercials or something because he seems older in this one from 1979 than he does in one that aired in 1981.

There were other variations of this ad - one we know of has Timmy finally getting his just desserts and getting hit with a pie in the kisser!
A transition ad from a month after this one has him being promoted from newsboy to salesman. He was probably getting...

Here's some more results from the open reel transfers financed by our generous group of Fuzzketeers during the Reel Transfer Fundraiser #1. Look for a lot more, coming soon!
This is an (unfortunately very short) rare excerpt from Auction '75 which aired on WTTW Channel 11. To my knowledge, this is the only existing video footage that anyone has found of the WTTW Auctions that they used to do (anyone know when they stopped doing these?)

Here's a partial commercial - cuts off about 10 seconds early unfortunately, but it's the best we've got so far - for Arnie Yusim Chevrolet featuring the late, great Sox and Cubs broadcaster, Harry Caray.
