There were a number of these; this is one example - set to the tune of the Beatles version of "Till There Was You" and features images from a number of WTTW programs at the time including Barney & Friends, Image Union, Charlie Rose, and more.

Here is a very quick excerpt of the opening for Movie Eleven on WTTW Channel 11 for a showing of "Metropolis". You can hear a snippet of the music and make out some kind of film reel in the background.

I believe this aired on local Chicago TV in 1977 or early 1978.
