Anyone know what the name of the music theme for Nightbeat is?

Here's a neat little nugget - the ending of an episode of Star Trek on WGN Channel 9. Years before the show came to WFLD. Wish I could find someone who taped more of these. :-) Includes:
Ending of Star Trek - "Spock's Brain" (Season 3, Episode 1 - originally aired on the NBC Network, and thus in Chicago via WMAQ Channel 5, on September 20th 1968)
Commercial: Rice-a-Roni - "The San Francisco Treat!" (Featuring the little toy trolley and th...
WCIX Channel 6 - Snipets - "Girls Play Ball Too" (1984)
Here's another rare Snipets segment! These originally were created by and aired on the Kaiser Broadcasting / Field Communications stations such as WFLD Channel 32, in the 70s and early 80s. However, with the sale and dissolution of Field starting in 1982, for whatever reason Snipets segments popped up on a few other non-Field or former-Field stations, even as late as 1986!
This particular a...

Also includes a rare early animated WPWR Station ID at the end.
(I lightened up the picture a bit as it was too dark)
This aired on local Chicago TV on Friday, June 17th 1983.
The Lost Snipets - "Homework Now!" (A FuzzyMemories Re-Creation)

I had some additional Snipets segments but they were transferred from 16mm film and did not have the opening and closing on them. So, I did a little editing job and added them in. This was an early one, circa 1975. I found something cool to add to this - the circa 1975 title for Snipets, during the Kaiser Broadcasting era! Notice it is a little different from the Field era one that took over in 1977. Enjoy.
This one features an Art-Clokey-esque stop-film animation o...
WFLD Channel 32 - Chicago Blitz Vs. Tampa Bay Bandits (Promo, 1983)
Here's a promo of an upcoming game between the Chicago Blitz vs. Tampa Bay Bandits of the now-defunct United States Football League (USFL), to air Saturday, April 2nd at 7pm.
From this, we learn that George Allen was the Blitz' head coach and that John Reeves was the Bandits' QB. The play-by-play was by Doug Buffone and Lorn Brown (the latter of whom also handled play-by-play for Chicago White Sox radio broadcasts). (Spoiler / Time-Travelling Gambler Alert: The Blitz would ...

WFLD Channel 32 - Chicago Black Hawks Vs. Boston Bruins (Excerpts, 1976)
Here are some selected excerpts of the Chicago Black Hawks / Boston Bruins game on WFLD Channel 32, played at Boston Garden in Boston, MA. This was from an original 2" Quad master tape, and though the "recorded date" says 3-31-76, this game was broadcast on 3-25-76. I think someone, perhaps Don Shannon (who directed this telecast) made this compilation of excerpts from the original tape(s) on the 31st (or perhaps it was done live? That wouldn't account for the 3-31-76 date though) In any ...
