Here's a brief glimpse at a couple commercial bumpers from America 2 Night on WFLD Channel 32 from 1978 - the waning months of the Kaiser era!
This one is also very quick - but you can see it features Fred Willard.
I included the end credits of the show too (no 32 voiceover unfortunately) because there is a little snippet of a commercial that followed immediately after (no Station ID?) - for The Children's Photographer. Is that Bud Kelly again doing the live rea...

Here's Part 6 of a complete edition of the Eyewitness News at 5pm on WLS Channel 7. Features John Drury, Terry Murphy, Bill Frink, Johnny Mountain, Bob Petty, Hugh Hill, and others.
I am too tired to fill in the info on this part yet. Too much work to do. :-(

Mr. Steak (Commercial #1, 1975)
Here's a commercial for another long-gone restaurant that had locations in the Chicagoland area - Mister Steak. (no, not Mr. Beef!)
The production slate at the beginning shows that this was produced at WFLD Channel 32, and we see the Kaiser Broadcasting Company logo as well. This was number 7541 (I wonder what the significance of these numbers were exactly?) and was directed by Don Shannon. Record date was 5-19-75.
Looks like the sign says "America's Favorite ...
Trix Cereal - "Rabbit Musician" with Rabbit Air Racer Offer (Commercial, 1973)
Here's a commercial for Trix Cereal with the Trix rabbit (voiced by Mort Marshall) disguising himself as a marching band xylophonist to try to finagle the cereal from the kids inside (unsuccessfully, of course), followed by an offer for an easy to make (and fly) Trix Rabbit Air Racer that could be found in the back of specially marked boxes.

Picture doesn't clear up completely until about 20 seconds in - be patient.

Here's a brief commercial for Jet-Dri Waterproofing Service, advising how to "Stop Wet Leaky Basements" (hint: by calling them, either in Chicago, Gary or Waukegan).
Previous to this we also saw a longer Jet-Dri ad featuring some neat animation.
