Here's a rare old promo for Son of Svengoolie episode number 40, showing the movie, "Terror Beneath The Sea". This episode aired on Saturday, April 12th 1980 at 8pm.

This is the oldest off-air Sven footage we have so far, and definitely the oldest promo. This was even before they had the Son of Svengoolie theme song (written by Doug Scharf) and instead were still using the old Jerry G. Bishop Svengoolie theme, "Rumble".

This promo aired on local Chicago TV the 2...

WLS Channel 7 - Sunday Night Movie - "To Trap A Spy" (Brief Bumper Excerpts, 1978)

Here are some very brief opening, ending, and bumper excerpts from the Sunday Night Movie airing of "To Trap A Spy" on WLS Channel 7 that I edited together. We can see it uses the same swirling-star motif as used on the 3:30 Movie and Late Night Movie shows of the period, but this one has a different title that can be briefly glimpsed at t...

Here's a cool promo for the WLS 3:30 Movie presentation of "The Vampires", which was shown on Tuesday, June 21st 1977.

What a freaky looking movie. This would have given me nightmares even if I watched it at 9am instead of 3:30pm.

Voiceover by Fred Kasper(?)

This promo aired on local Chicago TV Saturday, June 18th 1977 at a little before 10pm!
