Here's another rare episode of The Storyteller on WTTW Channel 11, hosted by Val Bettin. This was Episode #54, a reading of the book "The Case of the Cat's Meow" by Crosby Bonsall (read by permission of the publisher, Harper & Row, which put the book out in their "I Can Read" series), from a 3/4" dub of the original 2" quad master tape, recorded on February 22nd 1969. This was also one of WTTW's early color productions.

This, the ninth of a total of 16 installments of an ongoing course about maintaining life and health in times of national disaster or emergencies, deals with the topic of "Infant and Child Care" and is hosted by Dr. Max Klinghoffer, Chairman of the Illinois State Medical Society's (ISMS) Disaster Medical Care Committee.

Here's a "research reel" from Midocean Motion Pictures, a production and graphics house that handled commercials.

This came from a 3/4" Umatic tape that was kept by Cathy Mustari, art director for WFLD Channel 32 from 1974 to the late '80's, from a time when the station was actively shopping for production houses to handle their graphics for opens/closes, bumpers, promos, etc.

Here's Part 1 of a local music show, Made in Chicago, on WTTW Channel 11. This program (which was also simulcast on WBBM-FM 96.3) was a predecessor to Soundstage which was also produced by the station and aired nationally over PBS. The guests on this (re-run airing) edition were Aliotta-Haynes-Jeremiah (bassist Mitch Aliotta, guitarist Skip Haynes and pianist John Jeremiah) and Bill Quateman.
