Here's a public service announcement for the Epilepsy Foundation of America, with shots of a little girl (not in a car seat or with a seat belt!) climbing over the seats inside a car, a child skateboarder, and a man on a motorcycle. The voiceover mentions that main causes of acquired epilepsy are falls and other accidents, and advises wearing seat belts and helmets to prevent it. The ending shot before the address is shown, is a fall victim being put in an ambulance.

Another weather forecast by Jim Hill (famous for being a longtime voiceover announcer at WMAQ-TV) who originally called it a "very poorly organized storm"; Anchor Mike Jackson speaks at length with Mayor Bilandic about the city's response to the blizzard, which was still being organized at the time (also poorly).

Star Wars Droid Factory by Kenner (Commercial, 1979)

Here's a commercial for the Star Wars Droid Factory by Kenner. A "non-canon" toy that was a bit of a rare oddity back then since there was no "droid factory" in the original movie. Notable for allowing you to make an R2-D2 that actually looks like R2 (more so than the actual action figure) since it includes Artoo's middle extendable leg.

Voiceover by Norman Rose.

This aired on local Kansas City TV on Saturday, December 29th 1979. (1977 Copyright, Twentiet...
