Here is Part 4, the final part, of some footage from the WCIU Channel 26 program The Stock Market Observer.

SMO started after March of 1967 and before Monday, August 21, 1967 in black and white. It switched to color in 1974. Until 1995, it aired for 7 hours each weekday from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. By late 1995 to 1999, it aired on WCIU Channel 26 from 8:30 AM to 12 Noon, simulcast on low power WFBT Channel 23, which continued until 3:30 PM. In 2000, SMO aired on WFBT Channel 23 from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, and WCIU aired WebFN from 9 AM to 11 AM. The program also aired on the internet. In 2001, WebFN aired only on WFBT Channel 23 from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, and WCIU ran general programming all day. By April 2003, the program First Business was a half hour show that aired from 5 AM to 5:30 AM on WCIU Channel 26 and 6:30 AM to 7 AM on WFBT Channel 23. Web FN ran on WFBT Channel 23 from 7 to 8:30 AM, with MeTV airing the rest of the time. By August 2003, First Business still aired from 6:30 AM to 7 AM on WFBT Channel 23, but WebFN was cancelled on May 30, 2003. In March 2004, Ask an Expert aired on WFBT from 8 AM to 8:30 AM. In May 2005, First Business aired on channel 23 from 6 AM to 6:30 AM. It remained in that timeslot in March 2006 when the call letters changed to WWME.

Does anyone know for what years this program was on? (I.e., When did it start? When did it finally end?)

This aired on local Chicago TV on Thursday, March 29th 1984.
