Here is a Prayer For Today and station sign-off from WKBS Channel 48 in Philadelphia, in February 1983. Notable due to WKBS being a sister station of WFLD; they were both owned by Field Communications.

Prayer For Today given by Reverend John McFadden of the Archdiocese the Philidelphia and is Copyright 1981.

National Anthem played by the Stanford University Band and arranged by Dr. Arthur P. Barnes. Photography by the Sierra Club. (Copyright 1972 or 1973?)

Also includes some vintage 25-year-old static. ;-)

One other neat thing about the sign-off is that it has a slide of the original Field Communications logo used in their Station ID's before their animated one was introduced which we all know so well. All I have so far is an example in black and white. I should get around to making a recreation of the actual station id using the audio from the black-and-white version and this color slide. :-)

This didn't air on local Chicago TV unless you had a reeeeealy long antenna. ;-)
