WBBM Channel 2 - "Thunderstorms Forever" (1979)

Here is the opening to a rebroadcast of the made-for-tv movie "Forever" starring Stephanie Zimbalist of Remington Steele fame. This is interesting for a number of reasons, but mainly because it features a WBBM Channel 2 weather-crawl warning of thunderstorms for some Wisconsin counties. (How nice of a Chicago station to let them know!)

Hard to believe Stephanie Zimbalist was 21-22 when this movie was filmed.

"From Channel 2 News...The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning effective until 8:30 PM for people in the Wisconsin counties of Kenosha, and Racine. Details on Channel 2 News at Ten."

This aired on local Chicago TV on Saturday, June 9th 1979 @ around 8:05pm!
