    Here's something really old and rare - the first 4 minutes of the opening segment to the Saturday Eyewitness News from June of 1977! Featuring Bob Petty, Johnny Mountain, and Mike Nolan on sports. Includes:

    WLS-TV Chicago Animated Station ID/Movie Promo Bumper (voiceover by Wayne Atkinson)

    Opening to the Saturday Eyewitness News. (with voiceover by Wayne Atkinson.)

    Stories include:

    - First test flight of Space Shuttle orbiter deemed a success.

    - 40-ton magnet bound for the Soviet Union has a problem boarding a plane at O'Hare International Airport.

    - 30-something Latino man is dead after being the victim of an armed robbery in Humboldt Park.

    - First black-owned bank on the West Side, The Community Bank of Lawndale, opens for business. Featuring James Hadley, president of the bank. Jim Johnson reporting.

    - Lincoln Towing and MLA Towing have been hit with a class-action lawsuit.

    - Taxi cab settlement: raise in rates.
