WLS Channel 7 - Tales of The Unexpected - "Another American Syndicated Variation" (Opening, 1987)
Here's yet another variation of the opening to the British anthology series Tales of the Unexpected, as aired this time on WLS Channel 7. Earlier we saw the original British version, then the American syndicated version with voiceover by John Houseman, and now we see that they have dropped Houseman's narration and replaced it with a generic one, also they shortened the theme and opening carousel footage quite a bit.
Most unexpected...but stupid.
This aired on local Chicago TV early Thursday, March 12th 1987.
