Here's Part 5 of the (mostly complete) 1985 Chicago Emmy Awards broadcast.

This part features Jim Ruddle, Elynne Chaplik, the hosts of WMAQ's Kidding Around - Jill Leiderman and Steve Smith accepting their Emmy award, Diane Whiteley, [edit in recording], (not) Oprah Winfrey, Charlotte Koppe, Walter Jacobson, John Callaway, Bruce DuMont, John Coleman, and Scott Craig.

Ms. Leiderman, Mr. Smith and Ms. Whiteley won in the "Children's Programming For a Series" category for Kidding Around on WMAQ Channel 5. Ms. Koppe accepted on behalf of Ms. Winfrey and producer Victor Aronovich who won in the "Outstanding Children's Program" category for When the School Bell Rings on WLS Channel 7. Mr. Callaway and Mr. Dumont won in the "Informational Programming - Public Affairs Series" category for Chicago Tonight with John Callaway on WTTW Channel 11. Mr. Craig and host Lee Phillip won in the "Informational Programming - Single Public Affairs Program" category for Children and Divorce on WBBM Channel 2.
