White Fence Farm (Commercial, 1982)

Here's another commercial for that great old-time eatery, White Fence Farm, whose owner and founder, Robert J. Hastert, Jr., died at the age of 73.

Great chicken and corn fritters, and lots of interesting knick-knacks to look at before or after dinner. I have fond memories of going here as a kid. It's definitely a one-of-a-kind experience that won't soon be replicated. (they're still open, so go and eat there now while you can!)

Main commercial voiceover by Mal Bellairs - Long-time host at WBBM radio in the 50s and 60s. (Pricing voiceover by Ed Grennan)

This aired on local Chicago TV on Wednesday, September 15th 1982.
