WFLD Channel 32 - The Dance Fever Christmas Special (Part 7, 1980)
Here's Part 7, the last part, of your holiday cheese platter for this year - The 1st Annual Dance Fever Christmas Special. Hosted by Deney Terrio (with his dance group "Motion"), and featuring guest celebrity judges Robert Blake and his 14 year old daughter Delinah (now known as Delinah Blake Hurwitz), Chad Everett and his 9 year old daughter Shannon, and Connie Stevens and her 11 year old daughter Tricia Leigh (now known as Tricia Leigh Fisher). Also features David Copperfield doing a magic segment and The Gap Band performing. Alison Arngrim, who played "nasty" Nellie Oleson on Little House on the Prairie also is featured as the "Guest DJ" who introduces the songs and performers.
Part 7 includes a partial WFLD Dance Fever bumper, Sponsorship Notices from Creme of Nature from Deluxo Laboratories - Bit-O-Honey candy - and Polyglycoat Rustproofing Shield, The Gap Band performs, and the judges rate the foursomes to arrive at final scores and and the overall winners for both Junior and Senior couples. Lastly a Sponsorship Notice is given for Los Jules Resorts before the recording unfortunately ends early.
This aired on local Chicago TV on Friday, December 12th 1980 during the 8pm to 9pm timeframe.
