Here's Part 2 of an episode of AM Chicago on WLS Channel 7 featuring famed sports reporter and anchor Tim Weigel as host (were they going through a different host each week at this point?). This was at the point when the show had been reduced to only a half-hour in length. The guest on this episode was legendary Chicago newspaper columnist and author, Mike Royko, who was 49 years old at the time. Includes:

Tim and Mike discuss ERA protesters, Mike's love of 16-inch softball and his recent game with the Sun-Times Vs. Andy Frain.

Bumper promo for Monday's AM Chicago with host Robert Conrad and guest Mr. T.

Commercial: Eagle Discount Supermarkets (opening and ending voiceover by Wayne Atkinson)

Commercial: Robb Weller for Gloria Marshall Figure Salons featuring member Ernestine Price (who has two daughters).

Commercial: White Linen perfume by Estee Lauder at Carson Pirie Scott

WLS promo for "Where Were You in '70" (voiceover by Gary Gears)

This aired on local Chicago TV on Thursday, June 10th 1982 during the 9am to 9:30am timeframe.
