McCarter (recipient of the Governor's Award), who just passed away April 21st 2011.

Mr. Hogan, Ms. Smyser, Mr. Longhini and Ms. Bartel won in the "Regularly Scheduled News Program - Investigative Reporting" category for "Protection Money" which aired on WMAQ Channel 5. Ms. Marin and the Channel 5 News team won in the "Regularly Scheduled News Program - Spot Coverage" for "Laurie Dann Rampage" which aired on WMAQ Channel 5. Mr. Kurtis, Ms. Barrett and Mr. Harris won in the "Regularly Scheduled News Program - Feature Story or Mini-series" category for "The Illinois Vietnam Veterans Memorial" which aired on WBBM Channel 2.
