Here's a segment of the ending portion of newsfive with legendary anchor Floyd Kalber (a.k.a. "The Big Tuna") on WMAQ Channel 5, from the height of the "streaking" craze in 1974. Also features weatherman Harry Volkman. Includes:

Outro of weather report by Harry Volkman, who mentions the temperature at 57 degrees - which Floyd characterizes as "not weather for streaking," which in turn leads into an end piece he introduces about students of Northwestern University who streaked at numerous places within the campus area. Filmed interviews with other students on campus (four young men and one young woman) are shown, before Floyd says good night and indicates he'll be back at 10pm.

Voiceover leading into NBC Nightly News by ??

newsfive - portions of this program previously recorded

"Here he come, boogity-boogity..."

Note: This was originally broadcast in color, but captured on this early home videotape recording in black and white. There are some tape-tracking problems that are noticeable at certain points on this clip.

Based on the weather board, this aired on a Wednesday (during the 5pm-5:30pm timeframe); based on Harry Volkman's presence in this video, this aired around spring 1974 (Volkman left WMAQ for WGN Channel 9 later that year); and based on newspaper clippings, the exact air date on local Chicago TV would have been Wednesday, March 6th 1974.
