Here's another segment from Screaming Yellow Theater - the original Svengoolie, which aired on WFLD Channel 32 from 1970-1973. Svengoolie was played by Jerry G. Bishop. By this point, if the clapboard is of any indication, the SYT title had been eschewed in favor of Svengoolie.

This segment (#2-2) is from Show #61 (according to the clapboard, which lists as guest one Aaron Gold, although Larry "Superjock" Lujack made an appearance earlier in the program). The recording date was April 11th 1973.

In this segment, a seated Svengoolie is playing a rubber chicken like a guitar and introducing the next movie (with his list of stars reminiscent of one of Johnny Carson's "Art Fern" routines) when a visitor tries to tell a lame joke about a minister, a priest and a flamingo, with the punch line being "I need the eggs."

According to the TV listings, the two movies shown on this edition were "The Invisible Dr. Mabuse" (1962) and "The Screaming Skull" (1958), so it's possible this break aired during the latter (#2-2 would indicate this was Movie #2, Break #2).

    Directed by Ray Barnas.

This aired on local Chicago TV on Friday, April 13th 1973.
