Star Wars Imperial Troop Transporter by Kenner (Commercial, 1980)

Here's a commercial for the Star Wars Imperial Troop Transport by Kenner. Can fit a Storm Trooper action figure inside (sold separately, of course). Makes all of six sounds including cannon firing, the voice of C3P0 asking where R2D2 is, and R2's response. Notice the reference to a "stun gun" - years before such a term became associated with a real-life weapon used by police.

This airing fell a few months prior to the release of Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back (reclassified as Episode 5 in the saga after the release of the "prequels").

Voiceover by Norman Rose.

"Batteries not included."

This aired on local Chicago TV on Thursday, February 7th 1980.
