Here's Part 2 of a complete edition of the TV 2 News at 10pm on WBBM Channel 2 with anchor Bob Wallace. Also featuring Christopher (Chris) Wallace. Includes:

Bob reading the following items:

- 7,000 members of Confederation of Police about to do another ticket blitz on the order of their last blitz of September 27th 1972; due to start on Monday to tie into "Chicago Law Enforcement Week," in protest over collective bargaining; Christopher Wallace (better known as Chris Wallace, later of WNBC Channel 4 in New York City, NBC News, ABC News and now FOX News - and yes, that's 60 Minutes' Mike Wallace's son, and alas, no relation to Bob Wallace) reports; film of a C.O.P. meeting, with comments from C.O.P. president James Johnson, is shown, as well as clips of the 1972 ticket blitz; Bob mentions that Joseph Pecoraro of the Chicago Patrolmen's Association advises his members will not go along with the C.O.P.'s actions

- FBI and Chicago police arrest seven men on gambling charges in two raids in Near Northwest Side; these raids broke up one of the largest gambling rings in Chicago's Latin community; a film clip of one of the raids, outside the "Espino Club," is shown, as is a clip of another building where another raid took place

- "211" fire at 1367 Fullerton Avenue brings almost 100 firemen; four families lived on the top floor of the three-story building, where the Fullerton Currency Exchange, Rand Corporation and Murphy & Jones Company are also located; none of the 12 people were hurt; arson is suspected, and damage estimated at $25,000

- A burglary at the Ambassador East Hotel whose victims included "insult comic" Don Rickles and his wife (full details on this story can be found on
this clip; it was within the reading of this item that the "Chroma Key Afro" briefly surfaced)

- Bob introduces a story he reports on, about a "Do It Yourself" convention at the International Amphitheatre, with a look at some of the exhibits, ranging from hobby items to fixing a broken sink; film clips of the gathering, including someone using a blowtorch, a seminar on how to fix broken windows, furniture refinishing, making your own clothes and even making your own airplane, are shown, and Bob is seen (on film) in a loud casual jacket and pants at the convention; he is next to 14-year-old Tim Orasek (sp?) who is making radio speakers out of tin cans and calling them "Tim Can" speakers

Bob then previews a story on "do-it-yourself" historic preservation before the next commercial break.
