Here's Part 2 of the early edition of The Sunday News on WBBM Channel 2, anchored by Bob Wallace. Also featuring Janet Langhart. Includes:

Bob reading or introducing the following items:

- State Rep. Bernard Epton (GOP-Chicago) proposes changing drunk-driving penalties from the current 7 days in jail to 2 days; a film clip of him speaking about his proposal with an offscreen Harry Porterfield is shown.

- Janet Langhart (first black "weathergirl" for WBBM-TV) with the weather forecast for the next 24 hours, and predicting that March will "go out like a lamb."

- Telephone service disrupted in an industrial area of Skokie due to somebody throwing a flare into a junction box; service was out beginning 10:30pm on the 27th and was not restored until 6:30am; a Northern Illinois Bell spokesperson said the box was almost totally burned out
