WSNS Channel 44 - Monster Rally Movie (Opening, 1976-1980) [Final Version]

Here's something pretty cool - the complete opening segment (in the best quality anywhere) of Monster Rally Movie on WSNS Channel 44, complete with super'd title and various processed special effects and images, and ending with the Monster Rally Movie bumper slide.

This is Take #2, the final version (from a 3/4" demo tape that was likely transferred from the original 2" quad master tape) of what had been shown in raw form in this clip.

The host was John Dickinson, a director at the station, and the theme music was "Fear (Main and End Title)" by Harry Lubin (which fans of science fiction anthology TV will recognize as the theme for the 1959-61 ABC network series One Step Beyond a.k.a. Alcoa Presents One Step Beyond, and in this form came from his 1960 album Music from "One Step Beyond," Decca DL 8970 / DL 78970).

"We've summoned you here for a monster revival. Thrilled you could join this gathering of ghouls... It's a Monster Rally!"

This aired on local Chicago TV between 1976 and 1980.
