Here's the opening Superstars sequence, followed in short order by the opening titles for, and first commercial break of the SilverHawks episode "No More Mr. Nice Guy" on WFLD Channel 32. (In the mornings, Superstars replaced the Super Cartoon Sunrise block that sustained Channel 32 through both Field and Metromedia eras.) Includes:

Fox 32 Station ID with first Fox-era logo (voiceover by Beau Weaver)

Superstars animated opening sequence (voiceover by ??)

Opening title sequence for SilverHawks - Closed Captioned for the Hearing Impaired

PSA for The Anti-Cruelty Society and Lake-Shore Humane Society - "Adopt a Friend Today"

PSA for U.S. Department of Transportation promoting the use of seat belts, with Joey Lawrence from Gimme a Break on the phone describing a traffic accident and saying he suffered no injuries because he was wearing a seat belt - "Your Life Is In Your Hands"

"Safety First" PSA with Popeye (the voice of Jack Mercer) advising the safe way to carry packages while riding bicycles - with Superstars logo and voiceover (by ??) at end - I swear this person sounds like the voice that does a lot of the Fisher-Price toys nowadays, such as the singing Learning Puppy and little house-door thing ("It's bumper-to-bumper on the rainbow bridge...") - anyone know what her name is?

Title card for episode "No More Mr. Nice Guy" - Written by Chris Trengove - followed by first moments of episode

This aired on local Chicago TV on Wednesday, August 12th 1987 between 6am and 6:04am.
