Here's the opening moments of the Son of Svengoolie presentation of the 1935 film "Bride of Frankenstein" on WFLD Channel 32. (The recording came in a few seconds into the intro.) This was Episode #203 of the series, according to Chicago EpGuides.com.

This was a transitory period for 32, as Metromedia, Inc. had just recently assumed control of the station; however, WFLD at this point still maintained the logo that was in use since the fall of 1978, a year after prior owners Field Communications reasserted control over the station after buying out 1973-77 owners Kaiser Broadcasting. It would be within the next several months from this show that Metromedia began to introduce their own new logo for Channel 32.

Includes:

Opening, in which Sven (Rich Koz) is seen on a Sony Trinitron set placed in front of his coffin, explaining he's not physically present because he's currently on vacation; at one point while the camera tilts one way and another, he moves as if on a boat that rocks; near the end, as he goes on about how there are complaints from viewers about his going on and on without end, a piece of duct tape is placed on the screen around where Sven's mouth is, muzzling him

First moments of film open, starting out with MPPDA (Motion Picture Producers and Distributors of America) and NRA (National Recovery Administration) logos behind notice of approval by MPPDA (Certificate Number 768) and opening titles (with pre-1935 Universal logo with plane whizzing by globe)

This aired on local Chicago TV on Saturday, June 4th 1983.
