WPWR Channel 60 - Music Video 60 - "Get Well Fast Michael" (1984)

Here's a message from WPWR "Music Video 60" urging get-well wishes for Michael Jackson after he suffered severe burns to his head in an accident while filming a Pepsi-Cola commercial. This message - "Get Well Fast Michael, From WPWR-TV 60" - aired frequently on the lower-third screen during the course of the showing of the video for his massive hit "Billie Jean" (which they misspelled as "Billy Jean").

TECHNICAL NOTE: One of the audio channels of this track is missing, so if you don't hear certain parts of the song, it's not your imagination.

The accident happened Friday, January 27th 1984, so I'd say this could have likely aired on local Chicago TV the following Monday, January 30th 1984.
