WE FOUND ANOTHER LOST SNIPETS SEGMENT AS AIRED ON WFLD CHANNEL 32! (Well, unfortunately it is one we have already seen before from another station and in a non-Snipets form, as listed below - however this new discovery does push back the latest time that a Snipets segment has been confirmed to have aired on WFLD. Previous to this, the latest confirmed WFLD airing was during the last week of July 1980.)

Here's a complete version of "The Granola Chef" installment of Snipets as aired on WFLD Channel 32, with Kelly Brod teaching us how to make granola. This contains the opening and first 10 or so seconds that were missing from this 1984 Snipets clip that had been taped off of WCIX Channel 6 (now WFOR Channel 4) in Miami / Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Previous to this we had also seen this "Granola Chef" segment being recycl- uh, used in an episode of the Field Communications produced "Way to Go!" program. Twice. Finally, for more fun in the kitchen with Kelly Brod you can see her here as a "Sproutmaker". Granola and Alfalfa Sprouts - can you tell she grew up in California? (one last one - she's also listed listed in the credits as playing "Alien #1" in "The Reluctant Robot" - except she's listed as Kellee Brod - typo?)

Based on other evidence in the recording, this is confirmed to have aired on local Chicago TV during a weekday in the period September 7th-11th 1981.
