Chicago Heart Assocation - "Do You Mime If I Smoke?" - Short Version (PSA, 1979)

Here is the shorter, 10 second version of the Chicago Heart Association public service annoucement featuring Carleton the Mime. I think it's kind of ironic that the mime's name is very similar to a popular brand of cigarettes. ;-)

There is also a longer and medium length version of this PSA.

I vividly remember these, and I think they were very effective. The scene where he's having a heart attack and clutching his chest in the other versions is still pretty disturbing.

I also love the music in these. :-)

This aired on local Chicago TV on Friday, December 21st 1979.
